Taro Nakasendo, webmaster of the Japanese Beloved iMac Club website,
has just sent me an email about the iMac's coming launch in Japan:

Hi Jeff,
iMac will launch on Aug 29 3:00 PM (+9:00 = JPN).
(USA summer time : Aug 28 11:00 PM?)
A party will launch the iMac, and we are to meet at four places:

Sapporo (T-Zone)
Tokyo (Special Main Stage ?)
Osaka (Ninomiya Mac Shop)
Fukuoka (Canal City T-Zone)

The events will be broadcast by satellite relay between the four venues.
The bundled software includes:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 Microsoft Outlook Express 4.01
Netscape Navigator 4.04(J)
ClarisWorks 4.0 v3
Atena Shokunin Ver.5 (Address database and print utility for letters.)
